About Us

Mission

Our mission is to support the local food system in Prince George's and Charles Counties with sustainably grown produce, home garden consultation and education.

Our Values

Stewardship: We will use traditional and new or emerging methods to grow and produce our food in a way that cares for the land, and leaves it fit for the next generation
Justice: We believe access to good food is a human right, and should not be exclusively reserved for the wealthy or privileged. We will speak truth to power, and dedicate time and resources to increasing food access in our community.
Education: We all know the old adage about teaching one to fish. In that spirit, we will strive to teach our community ways to feed and sustain themselves.
